Emerging Trends in Online Teaching and Learning

Abstract

Education is a process of self- realization. It curbs the animal instincts in man and shows him the way to realize his latent powers. It emancipates us from our oddities and infirmities, ultimately leading to the process of self – realization.  Education is a process and product as well, which is fulfilled with the help of teaching- learning process. Teaching and learning both happens at the same time.  It is a two way process in which interaction takes place in various forms i.e. One to one interaction, one to two, one to many, one to too many and also interaction among many to many. In traditional teaching method there were limited opportunities but online teaching has opened the door for the various new methods and strategies. During the pandemic when we all were worried about the study of our students, the online leaning has provided us a better platform. Learning became convenient and easily accessible for all the students irrespective of gender, class and creed. The present paper deals with the Emerging trends in online Teaching –leaning. For this the researcher has discussed with the expert of education field and collected the opinions of students of various disciplines of various institution located in Chandausi city.
