Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

1. About the Journal

The International Journal of Advanced Research in Multidisciplinary Sciences (IJARMS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research across diverse academic disciplines including Social Sciences, Humanities, Science, Commerce, Management, and Technology. The journal aims to promote interdisciplinary research and scholarly excellence.

2. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

IJARMS accepts the following categories of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Papers
  • Case Studies
  • Short Communications
  • Conceptual Papers
  • Book Reviews

3. Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Language

  • Manuscripts must be written in English or Hindi.
  • Authors should ensure clarity, grammatical accuracy, and academic tone.

Formatting

  • Font: Times New Roman (English), Krutidev 10  (Hindi)
  • Font Size:
    • Title: 14 Bold
    • Headings: 12 Bold
    • Text: 12 Regular
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

4. Structure of the Manuscript

Manuscripts should be organized in the following order:

  1. Title Page
    • Title of the paper
    • Author(s) name, designation, affiliation
    • Email address of corresponding author
  2. Abstract
    • 150–250 words
    • Clearly state objectives, methodology, findings
  3. Keywords
    • 8–15 keywords
  4. Main Text
    • Introduction
    • Literature Review
    • Objectives of the Study
    • Research Methodology
    • Data Analysis & Interpretation
    • Findings & Discussion
    • Conclusion & Suggestions
  5. References
    • Follow APA / MLA / Chicago style (consistent format required)

5. Citation Style

  • Authors must follow a standard referencing style such as:
    • APA (7th Edition) (Preferred)
  • All in-text citations must match the reference list.

6. Originality and Plagiarism Policy

  • Submitted manuscripts must be original and unpublished.
  • Plagiarism should not exceed 10–15%.
  • Proper citation is mandatory.
  • Manuscripts found plagiarized will be rejected immediately.

7. Peer Review Process

  • IJARMS follows a double-blind peer review process.
  • Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two experts.
  • Final decision is based on reviewers’ recommendations and editorial board approval.

  • Initial screening: 3–5 days
  • Peer review: 1–2 weeks
  • Final decision: Within 2–3 weeks
