Impacts of lockdown on higher education

Abstract

Corona virus is a deadly disease that spread all over the world quickly and changed the world for ever. To combat this pandemic, the only effective way in 2020 was to impose lockdown all over. Due to lockdown, a massive number of students were affected all over the world. After some time, many universities started their online class and that was the biggest movement of online in world history. Some people are not supporting this online system because they think that face-to-face classes are necessary for higher studies. In 2020 1.6 billion learners all over the world faced problems in their education. In Egypt, universities were persuaded with the result. Now they have decided to inaugurate an online network in their higher institutions and universities. During the lockdown, the whole world used online system for education. This online system was new for the whole world. Due to lockdown, the issues of reopening of academic institutes us a big challenge for educational bureaucrats. But online system played a false role like the lack of transmission between the teachers and students and deprivation of occasions in practical fields. In masters, due to this system, there was a lack of practical experience but the researching capabilities modification. Lack of experience caused downfalls in every field of life. But in difficult times this is sufficient.
