Abstract

This research paper is based upon an extensive study of rural area of Varanasi district Development
to be meaningful should be sustainable. so, we have tried to find out ground reality of sustainable
practices in the Varanasi. It appears that this district needs a big thrust in the sustainable practices in
agricultural field, afforestation, agro based industries, literacy etc.
